Seed Store and Seed Cleaning, Cake Store

CPM SKET designs and supplies the ancillary equipment required for seed treatment in the processing plants. The complex “Seed Store and Cleaning“ includes the following stages:

• Truck weighing station
• Automatic sample taking and sample transport
• Seed acceptance and seed cleaning and , if applicable, even seed drying
• Seed storage in bins
• Seed transport to processing plant

The weight of arriving trucks is measured on the truck weighing station. At the same time a sample is taken by the automatic sample taker. This sample is brought to the laboratory for quick analysis.

Seed is dumped into discharge chutes and either stored directly in seed bins or, dependent on seed quality, dried and cleaned before.

Seed leaving the storage bins is brought to the processing line.

The complex „Cake store“ includes the following stages:

• Storage of produced press cake from the pressing plant or
• Storage of extraction cake from solvent extraction in flat stores or in bins
• Loading of press cake on trucks
• Truck weighing station
